In this article, I'm revealing my secret list of top textile mockups that I use to showcase my digital pattern products.
I won’t beat around the bush—just know this: the best and most impressive mockups are from Creatsy!
A Little Bit of History
When mockups first appeared, they were a well-kept secret. Designers used these mockups even for their product covers, barely adding anything except their pattern—and it was already a hit! The first products designed with these mockups mostly landed in the top rankings of the most professional marketplace, Creative Market. By the way, the Creatsy team also started on Creative Market, where they had as many as five stores! So, you buy a mockup from Creatsy on Creative Market and use it to showcase your own product for sale on that same Creative Market :)
Nowadays, Creatsy mockups are used not only by designers and freelancers but also by major companies and well-known brands. These mockups are incredibly high-quality, super professional, and just really cool! The Creatsy team has created their own website, and now it's most beneficial to buy their mockups directly from their official site. Plus, there’s a registration discount available.
Over the years, Creatsy has created so many mockups that I always get lost in the sheer number of stunning visuals, struggling to choose. That’s why I decided to create a selection of mockups I already own and have used to showcase my most popular patterns.
My Most Popular Products and the Mockups I Used
Of course, Azulejo :)
There were so many mockups here that I probably will never manage to put everything together. But here are some beauties from this product collection:

Heart. Surprisingly, it can be used not only for Valentine's Day:

Another tile-based product, but this time Spanish tiles styled in a modern neutral beige. I couldn’t resist fabric mockups:
And here’s the same mockup in a different layout:

My Best Mockup Box:
I mixed it with other mockups. Here, you can even customize the nail color!

Sunflower. It was tough to present properly until I added a Creatsy mockup. It really elevated my product and gave it a polished look. This mockup features very thin and lightweight fabric with transparency, so it took me a while to get used to layering the pattern properly before I dared to publish it.

Every object in Creatsy mockups is customizable, you can move things around and change colors. I also love mixing different mockups together into a single preview.
Notebook
I spent a long time looking for the perfect notebook mockup. My goal was to show real use in a planner, and I also wanted a coffee cup nearby:
Here, I combined it again with fabric and added other elements:

I also have a few standout niche mockups that are highly impactful,,
especially when you combine two mockups into one preview :)

The Importance of Mockups
While selecting images for this article, I found a product where the old cover was still saved—before I started using mockups. Look at this Before/After:

A product from 2016! I can tell you, this is the best motivation to get yourself some great mockups :))
Bundles
Now, I’ll reveal everything: the best way to buy mockups is in a big bundle. It’s much cheaper per mockup when you get them this way. But to avoid buying blindly, I recommend carefully reviewing all the previews and reading the descriptions.
Buying bundles is worth it if you need at least four mockups from the set. The mockups should be diverse enough to expand your usage options. For example:
For presenting multiple patterns (as a cover image)
For the main pattern
For a secondary pattern
A combination of two or three patterns on an object (dress, wallet, bag)
Some mockup bundles even include extra goodies: individual elements (flowers, branches, scissors, cups, etc.), backgrounds, shadows, and more.
Another advantage of bundles is that you don’t have to work too hard to reinvent the same mockup for the second, third, or sixth product. This is your investment in promoting your product, so all purchased mockups pay off in just two sales. And they catch the buyer’s eye, so there will definitely be more than two sales :))
My Bundles
Fabric Factory V9 - I specifically waited six months for Black Friday to finally buy this bundle. 80 mockups! It has paid for itself 10,000%. I haven’t even used all the mockups yet, but it has everything I need. Even today, this bundle is super relevant. Creatsy has updated it, making it even better.
Most of the mockups I use are included in this bundle.
It’s worth noting that the file size of such a bundle might make you think twice :) But Creatsy allows you to download mockups as needed, so you don’t have to grab everything at once. There’s also Dropbox sync, which I haven’t tried yet.
This product includes all the fabrics from the Fabric Factory V9 bundle:
Wrapping, Paper
This Gift Wrapping Paper Mockup Bundle is everywhere in my work:
Here, I mixed it with other mockups:
Here’s another mix of papers, boxes, and rolls:
I’ll wrap up the list here, as these are the essentials I use.
Too Expensive? Want Freebies?
I totally get it! Creatsy has a Freebies section where you can download themed mockups for Christmas and Valentine’s Day for free. You can even tag Creatsy’s page on Instagram—they usually repost to their Stories.
Made with Creatsy
And a bonus for those who have read my long post to the end: I recommend submitting your patterns to the Made with Creatsy section. This way, your work will appear on the Creatsy website, and you can use it as additional promotion for your products by adding a link to your shop or website.
Your patterns may also be displayed at the bottom of the page of the mockup they belong to, in the Files In Use section.
Now that’s really everything! Hope this was helpful. :)
